Children’s Dentistry

At Mountain Gate Dental, we welcome every member of your family, including your kids, starting at age 4. Our dentist, Dr. Erekson, and our team will do everything we can to help your child have a great experience at our office and develop a positive and proactive attitude toward caring for their smile. 

For very young patients, the first visit, or first few visits, might be what we call a happy visit.  The child would sit on mom or dad’s lap, and an exam and cleaning would be attempted if the child is agreeable to that.  

We understand that your child may feel stressed, anxious or uncomfortable in the dental office, we go the extra mile to help them feel more at ease during their appointment.

In addition to providing your child with preventive care and other treatments at our office, we will also help you teach your child the best ways to brush and floss so that they can establish good oral hygiene habits at home and keep their mouth and smile healthy.
