Dental sealants are a great way to reduce the risk of cavities on molars.  Our molars can have deep grooves in the peaks and valleys of the chewing surface.  Sealants are intended to seal off those deeper grooves with a type of filling material.  This gives bacteria less spots to cause tooth decay.

Having sealants done is a fast procedure and does not require numbing.
